Ales For ALS
The Basics
Style - New West Coast IPA
ABV - 6.6%
Description
Soft citrus and floral notes explode and linger on the palate before being washed away in this crisp, dangerously easy drinking IPA.
The Name
The name of the beer is the name of the organization the beer is raising money for. Ales for ALS is a yearly program where brewers sign up and agree to donate the equivalent of $1/pint of beer sold. The money raised goes to vital ALS research through the Yakima Valley hop-farming fundraising program. Since the program started in 2013 it has raised over $5 million dollars for ALS research at the ALS therapy Development Institute.
