An easy-drinking pint, slightly malty in the balance with an initial soft toffee/caramel sweetness, a slightly biscuity palate with a touch of roast in the finish.

tHE NAME

Named for Steve Irwin, an infamous (if you’re a wild animal) Australian conservationist and wildlife educator who is of Irish Descent. It was not named after Irwin that works at Bay 13 no matter what he says!

This style is known for its unique and subtle malt flavors and has gone through many iterations over the years.

The Ingredients

  • Malts: 2-Row, Carahell, Dextrin, and Carafa Special II’

  • Hops: Willamette

  • Yeast: Safale US-05
