Description

Clean, crisp and delicately balanced featuring subtle floral and spice notes from AUSSIE Hops with a subdued malt backbone for a refreshing finish.



The Name

Named for the Coolibah Eucalyptus native to Australia, the hops were chosen to impart earthy and floral qualities. The beer was produced utilizing a mixed fermentation between a standard ale yeast and a late addition of Belgian yeast to give some spice and clove character as well.

Beer Facts

This beer style can be thought of as the ale version (or response to) a pilsner. Slightly more complex and less bitter, the Kolsch has a unique flavor and aroma profile all its own that still manages to be familiar.
