Description

Prodigious use of Australian hops (Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Enigma, and Ella) yields strong tropical fruit, red currant, raspberry, citrus and floral notes with subtle hints of gooseberry and sauvignon blanc with a pillowy mouthfeel.

The Name

Named for a fictitious, predatory version of the koala commonly spoken about to tourists.

Beer Facts

This beer has become a house favorite due in part to its high alcohol content. Typically, an ABV in double digits would be more harsh on the palate but, the use of flaked grains and a soft water profile make this beer easier to drink.
