tHE NAME

The name is a reference to the late night water taxi/ferry rides I took while in Brisbane which is bisected by the Brisbane river (sometimes referred to as the “Brown Snake”).

BEER FACT

Originally made by monks in Munich, the doppelbock beer style is very food-friendly and rich in melanoidins reminiscent of toasted bread.

• Malts: Pilsner, Munich II, Dextrin, Carafa Special II, Amber, Melanoiden Malts

• Hops: Galaxy, Spalt Select, Tettnanger

• Yeast: S-189
