Referencing Oceania, the geographic region housing Australia and New Zealand as well as the fact that this is the “recognized” beer style developed in Australia.

 

BEER FACT

The Australian Sparkling Ale is one of the first “officially recognized” beer styles to come from the land down under. This particular style gets a good deal of its character and mouthfeel from both the yeast and using a higher protein malt.

The Ingredients

  • Malts: Old World Pilsner, 2-Row, Wheat, and Dextrin

  • Hops: Galaxy

  • Yeast: Safale US-04
