Description

This smooth, crisp Vienna lager was brewed as a collaboration with Lincoln’s Beard and Deco Coffee.  The unique malt character was paired and balanced with medium-dark roasted, black honey processed Honduran coffee.

The Name

Glass Case of Emotion is both an Anchorman reference (that’s not at all dated in any way) and a referral to the brew system at Bay 13 being encased in glass.

Beer Facts

The coffee that went into this beer (20 lbs!!) is FTO certified, grown at 1850 masl, and is black honey processed this processing method is harder to perfect, and therefore rare to come across, and incorporates longer ferment times with higher amounts of water saturation to create widely complex/deep fruit flavor notes.
