Description

German-styled, wheat ale with a unique blend of yeast derived banana and clove characteristics. Increased carbonation levels lighten the mouthfeel and create a thick, fluffy head and delightful crispness with every sip.


The Name

First original recipe I wrote and was able to share with my grandfather who we referred to as “Old Man”

Malts

Floor Malted Wheat, Floor Malted Pilsner, and light Munich malts

Hops

Hallertau Mittelfruh Hops

Yeast

Omega Yeast and Hefeweizen Yeast

Belgian style that is EXTREMELY yeast driven dependent on the fermentation temperature(s) used. Generally fermented warmer than standard ales.
