tHE NAME

Named for Australia’s most famous nature conservancy enthusiast and descendent or Irish heritage (and not the server no matter what he says) Steve Irwin.

 

BEER FACT

Known for its unique malty taste and is on the lower side of the bitterness and alcohol content scales. A balanced beer that uses a moderate amount of kilned malts and roasted barley in the recipe, which gives the beer the color for which it is named.

  • Malts: Floor Malted Maris Otter, Carahell, Cararye, Roasted Barley, and Melanoiden Malt

  • Hops: Goldings and Fuggles

  • Yeast: US-05

Fish and chips, bangers and mash, chicken parmi, Aussie Burger, grilled meats, roasted chicken and BBQ; cheddar cheese, toffee desserts and sticky date pudding.
