BEER FACT

It pains me to say this but: we owe Texas homebrewers a thanks for this style. Wanting to create the brown ales of England (and everything has to be bigger in Texas) gave us this style with higher alcohol content, increased residual sweetness and a larger body.

The Ingredients

• Malts: Pale Ale, Brown Malt, Pale Chocolate, Flaked Oats, and Carafa Special II

• Hops: Chinook
